About
LightJet®
Prints
The Professional Photographic Printers used by
WhyteScapes takes advantage of LightJet®
technology, a breakthrough in producing exhibit-quality photographic prints.
This process combines the best of digital, optical and laser printing
technologies to produce the finest quality enlargements available.
WhyteScapes images are
first digitally scanned. The digital information is then sent to a specialty
ultra-high resolution photographic laser printer, where the red, green and blue
laser beams expose Fuji Crystal Archive®
photographic paper in perfect detail. Special software eliminates film grain,
"digital noise" and other irregularities. The result is a print quality that
rivals the detail of large format photographs -- but at a fraction of the cost.
When displayed under
UV-protected ColorPlak® laminates or glass,
color fastness is rated at nearly 100 years for all WhyteScapes
LightJet® Prints.
