About Epson UltraChrome^® Prints

The Professional Photographic Printers used by WhyteScapes takes advantage of Epson’s award-winning UltraChrome^® ink technology, a vital component to producing exhibit-quality prints.

This pigment-based formula uses nine individual colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta, two blacks and two greys) to create an extremely wide gamut of colors that eliminates color casts and enhances mid-tones.

Epson UltraChrome^® Inks are water resistant and offer lightfastness ratings for color images up to 100 years,  on specific papers under non-UV glass or laminates.

When displayed under UV-protected ColorPlak^® laminates or glass, color fastness is rated at more than 100 years for all Epson's leading professional papers used in WhyteScapes Giclée Prints.
